Raiders QB Jimmy Garoppolo out vs Bears

In Garoppolo's absence, the Raiders is deciding whether to start 15-year veteran Brian Hoyer or rookie Aidan O'Connell.
O'Connell, a Purdue product, previously started for an injured Garoppolo in Week 4 games while Hoyer took over in the previous Patriots game after Garoppolo's injury.
The Raiders are expected to face the Bears' backup quarterback Justin Fields, who is nursing a thumb injury.
