Pierce, Supported by Players, Led Raiders to 5-4 Record as Interim Coach

Antonio Pierce, the interim head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders, is set to interview for the Tennessee Titans head coaching job.
Pierce took over as interim head coach of the Raiders after Josh McDaniels was fired in November and led the team to a 5-4 record.
Under Pierce's leadership, the Raiders' defense improved significantly, allowing just 16 points per game compared to 23.5 points per game under McDaniels.
Several Raiders players, including Maxx Crosby and Davante Adams, have publicly expressed their support for Pierce to be named the full-time head coach.
The Raiders have not made the playoffs since 2021, and the new head coach will face pressure to turn the team into a perennial playoff contender.
