Congress leaders defended Gandhi, stating his trip was pre-planned and private, and questioned the BJP’s focus on his personal travel.
The Congress has also accused the BJP of disrespecting Singh by cremating him at Nigambodh Ghat rather than a site on the Yamuna banks, which they claim was more fitting for his stature.
