Overview
- Jon Rahm secured the 2026 LIV Golf individual season crown despite a below-par week in New York, finishing tied for 41st with a +8 total.
- Joaquín Niemann won the New York tournament with a -16 total, finishing three strokes ahead of Harold Varner III and extending his LIV individual wins to nine.
- Crushers GC, captained by Bryson DeChambeau, took the New York team title and further extended their record for regular-season team victories.
- Rahm acknowledged recent struggles but said he is proud of his early-season form and two individual event wins that helped build the unassailable points lead.
- One final individual-points stop remains on the LIV schedule in Indianapolis later this month, but the outcome cannot change the season’s individual champion and attention will shift to team results and individual form going into that event.
