- Davide Steccanella, Fiore’s lawyer, confirmed on July 29, 2025, that he died at the age of 71.
- Fiore took part in the March 16, 1978, ambush in Via Fani and was credited with moving Aldo Moro into the group’s blue Fiat getaway car.
- He was arrested in Turin in 1979 and received a life sentence at the Moro Uno trial for his role in the kidnapping and murders of Moro’s security detail.
- Granted conditional release in 1997 and confirmed in 2007, he spent his parole working in a cooperative in Turin.
