- Emma Raducanu pulled out of exhibition matches in Newark and Miami on 7–8 December because of light bone bruising in her right foot.
- She remains able to practise and plans to complete a preseason training camp in Barcelona overseen by Francisco Roig.
- Promoters said world No. 6 Jessica Pegula will replace Raducanu in the two U.S. exhibition events.
- Raducanu added physiotherapist Emma Stewart, formerly with the WTA Tour and British Rowing, who will lead her strength and conditioning program.
- She is slated to represent Great Britain at the United Cup in early January and, at world No. 29, is in line for Australian Open seeding after a season with 28 tour-level wins.
