Choudary faces charges of belonging to a banned group, encouraging support for it, and directing it.
Charges relate to the banned group al-Muhajiroun, aka Islamic Thinkers Society.
Choudary previously jailed for encouraging support for ISIS; released in 2018.
Choudary gained notoriety for praising 9/11 and wanting to turn Buckingham Palace into a mosque.
