Rachael Blackmore Triumphs with Double Wins at Cheltenham Festival

The Irish jockey’s victories in the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle and Stayers’ Hurdle highlight a strong day for Irish trainers at Cheltenham.

Rachael Blackmore secured her first victories of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, winning the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle on Air Of Entitlement and the Stayers’ Hurdle on Bob Olinger.
Both horses, trained by Henry de Bromhead, were considered underdogs with pre-race odds of 16/1 and 8/1 respectively.
Blackmore’s wins contributed to a dominant day for Irish trainers, who claimed five of the seven races on St. Patrick’s Thursday.
