Overview
- Tens of thousands gathered in Tel Aviv, with reports of up to 150,000 filling Rabin Square and nearby streets to mark the 30th anniversary of Yitzhak Rabin’s killing by Yigal Amir in 1995.
 - Speakers at the national memorial delivered pointed criticism of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and he did not attend this year’s ceremony.
 - A newly released English edition of the anthology Class of 95 presents 40 poems and prose on the assassination, edited by Barak Sella with a foreword by Yehuda Kurtzer and an afterword by Silvio Joskowicz.
 - Sella says the project targets non-Hebrew speakers and educators, and he plans curricula and speaking events to help communities discuss the assassination’s civic and democratic lessons.
 - The Washington production of the musical November 4, running Nov. 1–Dec. 7, explores Rabin’s legacy and Israel’s internal divisions, with music and lyrics by Danny Paller and a book by Myra Noveck.
