A woman in her 30s suffered life-threatening burns after being set on fire at a Kingston home on Saturday morning.
Emergency services responded to the scene at around 7:45am, treating the victim before transporting her to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
Police have launched an attempted murder investigation, with initial reports indicating the incident was related to domestic violence.
A 36-year-old man, believed to be known to the victim, has been taken into custody and is assisting with inquiries.
