• Investigators now say surveillance video with audio indicates the suspect forced his way inside after a phone-charger ruse, then stayed in the home for about five hours.
• Prosecutors allege he separated the victims, tied and fatally stabbed Frank Olton, strangled Maureen Olton, and set parts of the house on fire.
• They say he attempted to transfer more than $10,000 from the couple’s accounts to his Cash App and called their bank while posing as Frank Olton.
• Within hours, he allegedly spent about $796 at Macy’s using the victims’ card, pawned their phones with his own ID, and was tracked to a Times Square arrest using theater footage.
• He was ordered held without bail, faces a potential life-without-parole sentence if convicted, and is due back in court on Nov. 12.
