Queens Doctor Charged with Sexually Abusing Male Patients

Dr. Amir Sitafalwalla, 72, faces multiple allegations and police seek additional victims.

Dr. Amir Sitafalwalla was arrested on September 9 for allegedly groping a 21-year-old male patient at Modern MD in Woodhaven.
Sitafalwalla was previously arrested in March 2023 for similar allegations involving a 25-year-old male patient but was released without bail.
The doctor allegedly made inappropriate comments about his patients' genitalia during the examinations.
Sitafalwalla posted a $10,000 bail following his recent arrest and is due back in court on November 13.
The NYPD's Queens Special Victims Squad and the Queens District Attorney’s Office are investigating and urging any other potential victims to come forward.
