Overview

  • The Royal Collection Trust has scheduled “Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style” to run at the King’s Gallery from spring to autumn 2026
  • Around 200 garments and accessories will be displayed, with nearly half making their public debut
  • Highlights include the 1947 Norman Hartnell wedding dress, the 1953 coronation gown and an early childhood couture outfit
  • Design sketches, fabric samples and handwritten correspondence between the Queen and her couturiers will be revealed for the first time alongside a companion book by curator Caroline de Guitaut
  • Tickets go on sale in November 2025 ahead of the exhibition’s opening
