Queen Camilla Hosts Special Tea for Children Who Missed Palace Garden Party

Tony Hudgell, a nine-year-old double amputee, and Lyla O’Donovan, who has a rare brain tumor, were invited to a private tea with Queen Camilla.
The children missed the original garden party due to traffic and health issues, respectively.
The event included a ride in a royal carriage, a view of the Changing of the Guard, and a performance by a military band.
Tony received the British Empire Medal for his work in preventing child abuse and fundraising for Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
Both children and their families expressed gratitude for the special experience and the kindness shown by the Queen.
