Quarterback Conner Weigman Transfers to University of Houston

The former Texas A&M starter and top 2022 recruit will join the Cougars with two years of eligibility remaining.

Conner Weigman, a former five-star recruit and the No. 1 pocket passer in the 2022 class, announced his transfer to the University of Houston for the 2025 season.
Weigman played three seasons at Texas A&M, starting 13 games and throwing for 2,694 yards, 19 touchdowns, and seven interceptions across 15 appearances.
Injuries, including a foot injury in 2023 and a shoulder sprain in 2024, limited his playing time and led to him losing the starting job this past season.
Houston struggled offensively in 2024, finishing 126th in passing, and recently hired new offensive coordinator Slade Nagle to revamp the attack.
Weigman, a Cypress, Texas native, expressed optimism about reaching his full potential at Houston, where he is expected to provide a significant boost to the team's quarterback position.
