Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with AI and Gaming Enhancements

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 is Qualcomm's first 6-series chip to feature on-device generative AI support, including INT4 for efficient AI processing.
Built on TSMC’s 4nm process, the chip delivers 11% better CPU performance, 29% faster GPU rendering, and 12% improved power efficiency compared to its predecessor.
Gaming enhancements include Snapdragon Game Super Resolution for upscaling visuals to 4K and Adreno Frame Motion Engine for smoother frame rates.
The triple 12-bit ISP supports up to 200MP cameras, improved low-light photography, and 4K HDR video recording at 30fps.
Affordable smartphones from brands like Oppo, Realme, and Honor featuring the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 are expected to launch in the coming months.
