• Qatar Airways will shift its JFK operations from Terminal 8 to the new Terminal One when the facility begins phased service in 2026.
• The airline’s first dedicated U.S. lounge will span about 1,394 sqm and feature VIP check-in, direct gate access, premium dining, prayer rooms, children’s areas and duty-free shopping.
• New Terminal One will open its initial 14 gates and arrivals halls in 2026 before expanding to 23 gates and roughly 2.3 million sq ft by 2030 as part of a broader $19 billion JFK modernization.
• Business class passengers transferring between American Airlines at Terminal 8 and Qatar Airways at Terminal One will need to use the landside AirTrain, introducing new connection logistics.
• Qatar Airways maintains up to three daily flights to JFK and operates a U.S. network serving 11 destinations linked through its Doha hub.
