PWL Returns With 250-Plus Wrestlers Up for Auction in New Delhi

  • The player auction is being held on Saturday as the Pro Wrestling League resumes after a six-year hiatus under WFI sanction.
  • Wrestlers are grouped into A+, A, B and C categories with base prices of ₹18 lakh, ₹12 lakh, ₹8 lakh and ₹3 lakh.
  • The A+ pool features international and Indian standouts including Yui Susaki, Yusneylis Guzman Lopez, Iryna Koliadenko, Aman Sehrawat and Antim Panghal.
  • Each of the six franchises has a ₹2 crore budget from a ₹12 crore purse to assemble 9–12 member squads spanning five men and four women.
  • Team rules require four overseas athletes split evenly by gender, at least one Category C pick, and competition across nine weight classes from January 15 to February 1.
