Overview
- The PWHL on Thursday, Oct. 8 unveiled the first on-ice jerseys for Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas and San Jose, confirming diagonal city-name wordmarks for each team and that nicknames and logos will be deferred to a later branding phase.
- PWHL Detroit’s home black and away white sweaters feature silver metallic accents, red and white striping that reference the city’s automotive history and 313 area code, and an Ally Financial jersey patch with merchandise to be sold online and at Little Caesars Arena.
- Hamilton’s inaugural gold home jersey uses burnt orange and deep red accents inspired by the city’s steel industry and local sports history, and the cream road set will debut when the team visits Montreal on Dec. 5.
- Las Vegas released a green, gold and navy palette meant to reflect Nevada’s desert day-to-night scenery, and San Jose’s uniforms use mandarin orange and sky blue to reference regional fruit production and the city flag.
- The jersey drop is part of a paced rollout that leads into training camps in mid-November, preseason skates in late November, and the 12-team regular season starting Dec. 5–6, and it aims to drive early fan sales and sponsor visibility while full team identities are finalized.
