PVR INOX Opens Two-Screen Multiplex in Leh, Expanding Network to 1,774 Screens

The exhibitor is using its FOCO model to extend modern screens to Ladakh.

PVR INOX announced the opening of a two-screen multiplex at Saboo near Leh in Ladakh through a regulatory filing on Saturday.
The site features 2K projection, Dolby 7.1 audio and Next‑Gen 3D, according to the company.
The property has been developed under the Franchise Owned Company Operated model.
With the launch, the company says it now operates 1,774 screens at 356 properties in 112 cities across India and Sri Lanka.
Media reports describe the venue as India’s highest multiplex at about 11,500 feet, note a food court with brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee and Vaango, and list opening titles including Dhurandhar and Avatar: Fire And Ash.
