- Kremlin officials said Vladimir Putin will arrive in Ashgabat on December 11 for a two-day trip tied to events marking the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and 30 years of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.
- Putin is scheduled to take part in the forum’s proceedings and plans several bilateral meetings with visiting heads of state and government, according to the Kremlin.
