Pushpa 2 Slows Down at Box Office After Record-Breaking Start

Allu Arjun's blockbuster sequel sees its lowest daily earnings in the seventh week, trailing behind Dangal's all-time record.

Pushpa 2: The Rule has earned ₹1,735.4 crore worldwide, including ₹1,229.93 crore from India, but its daily collections have drastically declined in its seventh week.
The film, directed by Sukumar, is now the second-highest-grossing Indian film, surpassing Baahubali 2 but still trailing Aamir Khan's Dangal by ₹270 crore.
Despite the release of a 20-minute extended cut on January 11, which briefly boosted collections, earnings have fallen to as low as ₹50 lakh per day.
The movie's Hindi version has been a significant contributor to its domestic earnings, followed by the original Telugu version.
Pushpa 2 features Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj, a rising smuggler, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, continuing the story from the 2021 hit Pushpa: The Rise.
