Pushpa 2 Becomes Highest-Grossing Film in India, Surpassing Baahubali 2

The Allu Arjun-starrer has grossed ₹1,831 crore worldwide in 32 days, setting multiple records across Indian cinema, including the first Hindi film to cross ₹800 crore domestically.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has dethroned Baahubali 2 as the highest-grossing film in India, with ₹1,438 crore gross domestically.
The film has achieved ₹1,831 crore in worldwide gross earnings within 32 days of its release, making it the second-highest global grosser in Indian cinema after Aamir Khan's Dangal.
The Hindi-dubbed version of Pushpa 2 has set a new benchmark by becoming the first Hindi film to cross ₹800 crore net at the domestic box office.
Despite competition from multiple new releases, Pushpa 2 has maintained strong box office momentum, breaking records across languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.
A third installment in the franchise, titled Pushpa 3: The Rampage, has been announced, though production plans have not yet been confirmed.
