Pushpa 2: The Rule has grossed over ₹1,100 crore worldwide in just nine days, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.
The film has earned ₹762 crore in India, with significant contributions from Hindi and Telugu markets, and ₹195 crore overseas.
Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with a stampede at the film's Hyderabad premiere, which resulted in one death and injuries, but was later granted interim bail.
Pushpa 2 is now the fastest Indian movie to surpass ₹1,000 crore globally, breaking the record previously held by Baahubali 2.
Directed by Sukumar, the sequel continues the story of red sandalwood smuggling, with Allu Arjun reprising his role alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.
