Overview

• The world premiere will run October 16–November 16, 2025 at Hennepin Arts’ State Theatre in Minneapolis.
• Kris Kollins stars as The Kid opposite Rachel Webb as Apollonia, with a full supporting company and ensemble announced.
• Featured roles include Bilaal Avaz, Leon Addison Brown, Jaci Calderon, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Anissa Griego, Jared Howelton, Christina Jones, Emma Lenderman, Gían Pérez, Kondwani Phiri, Antonio Michael Woodard, and Grace Yoo.
• Jason Korn will appear as The Kid at certain performances as the role’s alternate.
• The creative team is led by book writer Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, director Lileana Blain-Cruz and choreographer Ebony Williams, with music supervision by Jason Michael Webb and music advisers Bobby Z and Morris Hayes.
