- Workers have entered the final phase of constructing this year’s three wooden chariots for Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra ahead of the June 27 procession.
- A multi-agency mock drill at Dharamshala near the Shree Jagannath Temple on June 13 tested emergency and anti-terror response plans with 11 agencies participating.
- Since June 12 the deities have remained in Anavasara, receiving herbal remedies such as dasa-mula kadha and chhena-infused water in private worship until Nabajouban Darshan on June 26.
- The Rath Yatra will commence on June 27 with the deities drawn to Gundicha Temple and conclude with the Bahuda Jatra on July 5.
