Purdue's Zach Edey became the sixth player in Big Ten Conference history to score 2,000 points and grab 1,000 rebounds during a game against Rutgers.
Purdue, currently ranked No. 2, won their fifth straight game, ending a three-game losing streak at Jersey Mike's Arena.
Purdue's victory over Rutgers was only their third win over Rutgers in the last eight meetings.
Despite a strong second-half performance from Rutgers, Purdue managed to hold on for a 68-60 victory.
Purdue is set to host Northwestern on Wednesday.
