Purdue’s Braden Smith Sets Big Ten Career Assists Record in Win at Wisconsin

Smith recorded 12 assists to reach 893 for his career, surpassing Cassius Winston’s 890 to become the Big Ten’s all-time leader.
He also scored 14 points as No. 5 Purdue defeated Wisconsin 89-73 to improve to 13-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
He leads Division I at 9.6 assists per game this season and has posted at least 10 assists in eight games.
