Overview
- Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET Friday at Ross‑Ade Stadium and the game will air on FOX with Dan Hellie and Robert Smith on the telecast.
- Former Purdue head coach Ryan Walters will make his first trip back to Ross‑Ade as Washington’s defensive coordinator, bringing staff ties that add narrative interest to the matchup.
- Washington’s starter Demond Williams Jr. is injured and his status is uncertain, so Stanford transfer Elijah Brown is the likely starter after a 251‑yard, three‑TD relief showing against Iowa.
- Purdue enters on a three‑game winning streak fueled by a strong run game and Fame Ijeboi’s recent 195‑yard, three‑touchdown performance that helped the Boilermakers dominate Minnesota.
- BetMGM lists Purdue as a modest favorite (~3.5 points) with an over/under around 51 and Purdue will wear a full blackout uniform while radio coverage is available on WAZY‑FM, the Purdue Global Sports Network and Sirius XM.
