Portal data now gives authorities a clearer view of programme demand to shape college staffing and resource allocation.

Overview

  • OCAS, which reported these totals by October 16, 2026, has processed over 225,000 applications for intermediate admissions to public colleges in Punjab.
  • Female applicants filed about 147,000 applications and make up roughly 65.25 percent of the total while male applicants account for about 34.75 percent.
  • Two programmes dominate demand with FA at 86,220 applications and ICS at 72,043 applications, together drawing roughly 70 percent of applicants.
