Punjab’s Anti-Drug Campaign Disrupts Smuggling Networks and Draws ISI Attention

Punjab director general of police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Monday said the state will not allow anyone to disturb peace and harmony in the state. He said the ongoing anti-drug campaign “Yudh Nashian Virudh” has rattled Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
With the war against drugs “Yudh Nashian Virudh” in Punjab entering 18th day, the state police on Tuesday arrested 95 drug smugglers and recovered 11 kg heroin, 7.5 kg opium and ₹31,000 drug money from their possession. (HT File)
