Overview
- DGP Gaurav Yadav unveiled number 1800-330-1100 on Sunday in Chandigarh and placed a test call during the launch.
- The line enables anonymous reporting of intimidation, extortion, and gangster-related offences.
- The service is operated by the Anti-Gangster Task Force and is centrally monitored under ADGP Promod Ban.
- Existing 112 infrastructure supports the system, while AGTF officers independently manage calls and coordinate with district police as required.
- Police said the rollout followed directions from Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and urged residents to save the number and report without fear.
