Overview

  • Punjab’s State Special Operations Cell arrested YouTuber Jasbir Singh of the ‘Jaan Mahal’ channel for maintaining ties with Pakistani operatives Shakir alias Jutt Randhawa, expelled diplomat Ehsan-ur-Rahim alias Danish, and influencer Jyoti Malhotra.
  • Police found that Singh attended the Pakistan National Day event in Delhi on a diplomatic invitation, met Pakistani army officials and vloggers, and traveled to Pakistan in 2020, 2021 and 2024.
  • Forensic teams have extracted over 150 Pakistan-based contacts from Singh’s devices and recovered deleted chats after he attempted to erase communication traces following Malhotra’s arrest.
  • A day before Singh’s detention, Gagandeep Singh of Tarn Taran was arrested under the Official Secrets Act for allegedly sharing classified details of Operation Sindoor troop movements with ISI-linked handlers.
  • Investigators have registered multiple FIRs and are pursuing detailed digital and financial probes to map the full scope of the network and identify remaining collaborators.
