Punjab Police Arrest Two in Batala Killing After Kohima Hotel Raid

Investigators now pursue alleged foreign-based handlers named in the case.

The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), in a joint operation with Batala police, central agencies and Nagaland Police, arrested two key accused involved in a murder case, from Kohima in Nagaland, said Punjab director general of police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Sunday.

  • DGP Gaurav Yadav said the operation followed reliable intelligence and was conducted under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s directions.
