Punjab Pastor Bajinder Singh Accused of Sexual Harassment

A 22-year-old woman has filed a complaint alleging inappropriate behavior and threats from the self-styled preacher, prompting a police investigation.

Pastor Bajinder Singh, who leads the Church of Glory and Wisdom in Jalandhar district, has been booked on charges of sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation.
The complainant, a 22-year-old woman, alleges Singh sent inappropriate messages and touched her inappropriately during her time in his worship team from 2020 to 2022.
The woman claims Singh threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the incidents and alleged he followed her while she was on her way to college.
Singh, known for his viral 'Mera Yeshu Yeshu' video and significant social media following, has faced prior controversies, including a 2022 rape accusation for which he was acquitted.
Supporters of Singh have protested, claiming the allegations are part of a conspiracy, while police continue to verify evidence before making an arrest.
