Overview
- Events opened in New Delhi with the Punjab Cabinet’s ardas at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib and a Kirtan Darbar at Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib attended by Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal.
- The observance runs through November 25 with district light-and-sound shows from November 1–18, an interfaith conference, and a special Punjab Vidhan Sabha session at Anandpur Sahib on November 24.
- Four major nagar kirtans are scheduled, including one starting in Srinagar with participation from Kashmiri Pandits, with three others from Talwandi Sabo, Faridkot and Gurdaspur converging at Anandpur Sahib on November 22.
- Large congregations at Sri Anandpur Sahib will conclude the programme from November 23–25, supported by a tent city named Chakk Nanaki, statewide blood donation camps and a plantation drive on November 25.
- Ministers paid tribute at the martyrdom sites of Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das and Bhai Dayala, while Maharashtra launched parallel state-level commemorations where CM Devendra Fadnavis pledged support and unveiled outreach initiatives.
