- Inspector General Dr Usman Anwar directed immediate sweep-and-combing operations across Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan and other districts.
- SDPOs and SHOs were told to coordinate with the Counter Terrorism Department and other agencies, with door-to-door checks and profiling of people arriving from outside Punjab.
