  • On July 28, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann laid the foundation stone for the ₹51.7 crore complex in Khatkar Kalan, Bhagat Singh’s ancestral village.
  • Construction will begin immediately under a nine-month schedule aimed at inspiring future generations with Bhagat Singh’s legacy.
  • A 350-metre Heritage Street will link the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Museum to his restored ancestral home through sculptures, 2D/3D wall art and mannequins.
  • Interactive features will include a digital recreation of Bhagat Singh’s courtroom trial and a modernised library offering immersive exhibits.
  • Visitor facilities are set to feature a 700-seat auditorium, a 30-metre national flag, cottages, a musical fountain and landscaped parking areas.
