- Planned technology includes high-resolution and AI-powered cameras, ANPR, radar speed detectors, weigh stations, and live monitoring software integrated into an Intelligent Transport System.
- Authorities plan real-time detection of speeding, lane violations, red-light running, wrong-way driving, overloading, and mobile phone use, enabling evidence-based enforcement.
- The Rs871 million build carries a four-month target for completion, with round-the-clock operations designed to speed accident detection and coordinate responses with traffic police and enforcement units.
