Overview

  • The PCMC–Swargate metro corridor has been fully active since September 24, 2024, except for Khadki and Range Hills stations.
  • Planned for November 2024, Khadki station’s launch was pushed back by labor shortages and incomplete mechanical and aesthetic works.
  • Nearby neighborhoods from Khadki Bazar to Mula Road and employees at the Ammunition Factory, HE Factory and Khadki Cantonment Board will benefit from shorter commutes.
  • Until now, passengers had to detour via Shivajinagar or Bopodi to use the metro, a gap closed by Khadki’s opening.
  • Range Hills station remains non-operational with its inauguration date still pending, leaving one final stop offline.
