Overview

• The fire broke out around 8:30 pm Monday at the Professional TVS showroom and service centre on Bund Garden Road in the Tarabaug area.
• Pune Fire Brigade rushed fire tenders and a water tanker, used breathing apparatus to control the flames, and began cooling operations.
• A man trapped inside by smoke inhalation was rescued, and no deaths were reported.
• About 60 petrol and electric two-wheelers, including new stock and repair vehicles, were gutted.
• Electrical wiring, batteries, machinery, computers, furniture, spare parts and documents were heavily damaged, with Pune City Police and MSEDCL assisting at the scene.
