Pune Records Coldest Temperatures in 15 Days With Single-Digit Lows

Northerly winds from the Western Himalayas bring a sharp drop in Pune's temperatures, reaching as low as 8°C in some areas before a mild rebound.

Pune experienced single-digit temperatures on Saturday after 15 days of warmer weather, with Shivajinagar recording a low of 9.6°C.
The coldest temperature in the district was 8°C, recorded in Haveli, attributed to northerly winds from the Western Himalayas.
Other areas such as Talegaon, Baramati, and Shirur also reported lows below 10°C, marking a significant drop from recent weeks.
By Sunday, temperatures began to rise slightly, with most areas returning to double digits, including Lavale at 17.4°C and Shivajinagar at 11.2°C.
The India Meteorological Department forecasts dry weather and morning haze for the coming days, with no further significant drops expected.
