Overview
- Acting on a tip-off, a Kondhwa police team detained three suspects at Kakade Wasti for alleged illegal liquor sales.
- Officers initially recovered Rs 1.41 lakh in cash along with branded whisky, rum and country-made liquor worth Rs 2,05,900.
- A subsequent search of the suspects’ two-storey house uncovered Rs 1,00,85,950 hidden in bedroom cupboards.
- The arrested individuals were identified as Amarkaur alias Madrikaur Dadasingh Juni, Dildarsingh Dadasingh Juni and Devashri Juni.
- Police said one accused had two prior bookings related to illegal liquor sales and that inquiries into the money’s origin and intended use are ongoing.
