Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad Finalize 21,000-Strong Security for Civic Polls After Cash, Drug and Arms Seizures

Officials say a coordinated plan aims to deter malpractice during Thursday’s polling.

  • Authorities say no election-related violence has been reported so far, with polling on January 15 and counting on January 16 under continued vigilance.
