Overview
- Pune Metro will operate a special overnight service from 11 pm on December 31 to 6 am on January 1 to support New Year’s Eve travel.
- Trains will run at 20-minute intervals during the extended hours, with regular operations resuming from 6 am on January 1.
- Both the Aqua Line (Vanaz–Ramwadi) and Purple Line (Swargate–PCMC) will be available during the overnight operation.

- Separately, PMRDA reports the 23.3 km Hinjawadi–Shivajinagar line is roughly 90% complete, targeting March 2026 with 23 stations from Megapolis Circle to Civil Court and a depot at Mann village, which authorities say should ease congestion in major IT hubs.
