Pune Businessman’s Wife Arrested for Orchestrating His Brutal Murder

Police allege Mohini Wagh hired contract killers, motivated by financial disputes and an extra-marital affair.

Satish Wagh, a 55-year-old Pune businessman, was abducted and murdered on December 9, with his body found 40 kilometers from the abduction site.
Police have arrested Wagh's wife, Mohini Wagh, and five others, alleging she conspired to kill her husband over financial motives and an illicit relationship with their former tenant, Akshay Jawalkar.
Investigators claim Mohini paid ₹5 lakh to Jawalkar to arrange the contract killing, with ₹1.5 lakh already disbursed as an initial payment.
The victim was stabbed 72 times within 15 minutes of his abduction, and the murder weapons were reportedly disposed of in a nearby river.
Police are continuing their investigation to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy, including financial transactions, additional suspects, and the precise motive behind the crime.
