Pune ACB Arrests Education Sub-Inspector in Rs 1 Lakh Shalarth ID Bribe Trap

  • A proposal to generate the teacher’s Shalarth ID was forwarded to the Deputy Director’s office on June 16, 2025, after which the ACB verified the bribe demand on November 17 and 21.
  • A case has been registered under the Prevention of Corruption Act at Bundgarden Police Station, the accused is in ACB custody, and officials urged citizens to report bribe demands via the bureau’s toll-free channels.
