- PT Organics Limited issued a voluntary recall of Pumpkin Tree Peter Rabbit Organics Banana & Strawberry 4 oz. pouches after inspections found a strand of soft, food‑grade plastic attached to the inside of a small number of finished pouches.
- The problem began when a packaging supplier recalled a defective production run, and PT Organics confirmed the issue was linked to the pouch material rather than the fruit puree.
- The recalled pouches were sold exclusively at Kroger, Meijer and Target between March 6 and July 13, 2026, so consumers should check purchases from that period carefully.
- Affected items can be identified by barcode 8 15367 01078 0, a lane number '4' printed on the rear right‑hand seam, and best‑before dates of 01/19/2027, 01/20/2027, 03/17/2027, 03/18/2027, 05/14/2027, or 05/15/2027.
- PT Organics says the supplier found the fault was limited to one production run on one line, no injuries have been reported, and consumers should dispose of or return affected pouches for a refund or contact the company for support at the number provided in the recall notice.
