Pumpkin Season Heats Up as Dunkin' Launches Fall Menu and Starbucks Sets Aug. 26 Return

Big coffee chains are leaning on new flavors, loyalty deals and staggered releases to pull in early fall traffic.

Pumpkin is back at Dunkin’.
Dunkin's Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte can be ordered hot or iced, is made with sweet pumpkin, vanilla and warm fall spice flavors and topped with whipped cream, caramel and cinnamon sugar.

  • Dunkin’ debuted its fall lineup nationwide on Aug. 20, featuring the new Cereal N’ Milk Latte, an Iced Pumpkin Loaf, expanded Sabrina Carpenter Daydream Refreshers and the returning $6 Meal Deal.
  • Dunkin’ is staging a second, Halloween-themed drop on Oct. 15 that will add items such as the Spider Donut, Halloween Munchkins, Pumpkin Loaf, a new Candy Bar Latte and maple-focused breakfast offerings.
  • Starbucks confirmed its fall menu arrives Aug. 26 with the Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, plus new items including a Pecan Oat Milk Cortado and Italian Sausage Egg Bites.
  • Dunkin’ is pairing the rollout with Rewards promotions, including $2 ten-count Munchkins through Aug. 31, Monday order-ahead bonus points Aug. 25–Oct. 27, and limited-time $1 and $2 food offers in September.
  • Other brands are moving early too, with pumpkin or fall menus already live at Krispy Kreme, IHOP and Caribou, and Dairy Queen slated to launch its Fall Treat Menu on Aug. 29.
