Pulwama Terror Attack Accused Bilal Ahmad Kuchay Dies of Heart Attack in Jammu Hospital

Kuchay, who provided support to the 2019 Pulwama attackers, passed away after being transferred from Kishtwar jail due to health issues.

Bilal Ahmad Kuchay, a key accused in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, died of a heart attack in a Jammu hospital.
Kuchay was arrested in 2020 for allegedly providing shelter and a phone to the suicide bomber, Adil Ahmad Dar.
The Pulwama attack, orchestrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed, resulted in the deaths of 40 CRPF personnel and severely strained India-Pakistan relations.
Kuchay was one of 19 individuals charged in connection with the attack, which led to a significant military standoff between India and Pakistan.
He fell ill in Kishtwar jail and was transferred to Government Medical College Hospital in Jammu, where he passed away.
